The spreadsheet on the screen had forty-two columns. Every single one was filled with numbers, dates, and names. It looked like a masterpiece of organization. We have this idea that more information is always better. We think that if we just collect enough numbers, the "truth" will eventually pop out and tell us exactly what to do. It feels like having a giant flashlight in a dark room. The more light you have, the more you see, right?
